Gabion cages are made by filling gabion boxes with appropriately sized rough stones or block stones.
Gabion cages are made up of six double-twisted hexagonal steel wire meshes mechanically woven from high-strength galvanized low-carbon steel wires.
The steel wire is made of soft steel that has been tempered and hot-dip galvanized to meet national standards. The wires are bound together in a double-twisted manner to form a mesh. Thus, even if one or two wires break, the mesh will not be untied. The long-term protection of aluminum-coated and zinc-aluminum protective network cables from oxidation.
The length/width tolerance of gabion cages and gabion net boxes is ±5%, and the height tolerance is ±5%. Inside, they are separated into independent units by partitions every 1 meter.

How to install and use gabion mesh?
Gabion nets can usually be installed at any time on the construction site. For transportation, the gabion cages need to be folded into a flat surface, then placed in the appropriate position and opened. Next, stones of suitable diameter are loaded into the cages, the LIDS are fastened tightly, and then each gabion net is tied up with the adjacent ones.
2. Gabion nets should be manufactured in accordance with standard specifications: the thickness of the cushion layer ranges from 100 millimeters to 300 millimeters, the height of the cage ranges from 0.5 meters to 1 meter, and the length and width of the cage range from 1 meter to 4 meters. The size of gabion mesh ranges from 60X80 millimeters to 120X150 millimeters. The diameter of the iron wire used for weaving the net is 2 to 4 millimeters.
3. The steel wire can be galvanized or coated with polyvinyl chloride. The larger the grid, the thicker the steel wire used.
